Location: God's country | I acquired a new broodmare today. I don't have her papers in hand yet , but she has Wonder Otoe on 3 lines of her papers. That's about all I know about her right now as I didn't plan to get her (long story). She's a bigger mare, about 15.2 & blue roan. What would be a good cross on her bloodline wise? Don't have pics of her yet . Not super familiar with this line other than seeing the one Kaley Bass runs. Thanks! |

Location: South Central Florida | There are a lot of winning Wonder Otoes in Florida. Most are crossed on a lot of run. They are very VERY turney little horses. I know 3 winning at every level WO's that are crossed on sons of Special Effort, one that is by Red Hot Pursuit (son of OTMR). |

I've had several and loved them all.

Location: Mississippi | I had a gelding that was by a Jet of Honor stud out of a WO mare, and he was the best minded, most trainable horse. I really enjoyed him. |

Location: Deep South | They do all have EXCELLENT minds and lots and lots of rate and turn. Wonder Otoe bred horses are pretty popular and very successful in my area. I agree with everyone else and would breed to something with lots of speed. And also, since they are kind of regionally famous, I think you would benefit from breeding to a very well known stallion if the colt will be for resale. |
