I am going to try this on my gelding to get him a little less bendy and more snappy in his turns. How do you guys adjust it? Anyone had any luck with this bit? I got a heck of a deal and thought why not try it. Thanks

I first got this bit when they first came out
(for half the price they are advertised now
). When I got it, I adjusted it to one wrinkle on each side. The mare I was riding at the time HATED it. I rode another mare in it and she hated it as well. I adjusted a few different ways and no matter what they refused to work in it.
I didn't like it either. It felt like I was riding my mares in a Tom Thumb bit. It didn't feel right in my hands at all. So i ended up selling it soon after.
Hopefully there are others who had a better outcome of using this bit. Ive used 3 other of Molly's bits and they worked great.

Is that the one that looks like a Pelham? The long straight shanks require very light calm hands and a horse that knows how to travel on the bit because they will bite really quick, but that's what gives you the quick reaction. Molly rides a more englishy style
(and has awesome feel for a horse
), and that's how I was taught as well. It's why I never run in a bit that has a lot of gag action, and most of the time I don't use any gag--depends on the horse.

I think its an excellent bit on some horses...I have found it worked awesome on a couple but some absolutely hated it! I think its def one to have in the trailer because those that like it seem to do well in it from my experience. I own two of them, lol..........i adjusted mine like 1 small wrinkle w/very loose curb, but all my horses are super light in the face also.

I LOVE it, and have several that work awesome in it! Would recommend! It works great for just the problem you described.
