| Hey everyone,
I told my sell at the first of last week that if I won over $200.00 I would buy new hoods, so I did and I can't seem to find hoods that I LOVE for under $70.00 dollars! So i was wondering if anyone knew of any full face hoods for under that amount that they liked and had good luck with, they just can't be over that amount considering I have four competition horses that they go on and limited funds lol! Thanks in advance. -Bliss |

Location: Gainesville, TX | Are you looking for slinky type hoods or the ones that connect to a blanket?

| Water proof or stable hoods? Heavy or sheet or lightweight?

| No i've heard too many horror stories of awful rubbing from those, especially since two of my horses are extremely thin skinned. |

Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | Are you dead set on full face hoods? I quit using them a few years back when I found the ones that come up just behind the poll. Best invention EVER!! My horse is warm and I don't have to worry about eye injuries or horses with hoods pulled half way off their heads from broken straps. Have you ever tried catching a spooked horses who cant see? It gets interesting lol
I bought these because they were cheapest and im really impressed with them!!

Location: Deep South | I second the neck covers!!
I like to put a sleazy underneath them, but that's just personal preference. They are so so so much more comfortable for the horses, more convenient to put on, and keep them just as warm.
I'll never go back to full face hoods again. |

| Yeah I really want full face, I check on my horses multiple times a day considering I am home-schooled and they would only be kept in the stalls with their hoods on. Never would they be turned out with them on. |

Stall time only wouldn't be as big of an issue, especially if theyre head isn't down for hours

| The only reason I really feel like full face is the way to go for me is because where i live during the winter we have just a really awful bitter cold and the last couple winters my horses faces and ears have been frostbitten so this year I really want to make sure their protected well. |
