I was riding today at the arena and i started to feel dizzy. I went back to the trailer. At this point I was light headed and felt like I was going to pass out. So I just laid down in the grass. I noticed my breathing was really hard and my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. I checked my heart rate and it was 129bpm. I waited a min and had my mom check it and it was 136bpm. I wasn't running or anything just walking my baby around and around the arena. It wasn't but 70 degrees so I wasn't hot. Mom said I was cool to the touch but I was pouring sweat. She loaded the horses and got me a bottle of water and we headed home. Just before we got home I started feeling better. I got everyone un saddled put 2 on the walker and fed. I was still feeling ok. We went to get something to eat because I hadn't had anything since about 10am and it was going on 6pm. I still felt fine. About the time I got home I started having the same feelings minus the dizziness. So I just went to bed. I had been laying down maybe 10min and I felt my heart rate pick back up and I got real shaky. So mom checked my heart rate agin and it was 111bpm. It's gone back to under 100 now but I'm still shaky feeling. Should I go to ER or just make a apointment with the doctor Monday? If it was up to mom she would have me at the ER the first time but I won't go without a fight. Unless dad says to because if dad says to go your boarder line dying. I just don't want to go toER and them say nothing's wrong. Then I feel stupid for going.

Moms been checking my heart rate and blood pressure every half hour. Heart rate has been high 80s and 90s. My blood pressure it a little low but that's not unusual for me. The highest it got was 116/71. If it does it agin I'll def go on to ER but I think if I went now even if I told them what it's been doing they will just tell me to follow up with my doctor unless they can catch it doing it. I had a friend in a simular situation except hers is a diagnosed condition and they told her unless it does it while she's there there's nothing they can do.

Go to your doctor Monday, you have arithma <sp>.  I take one pill a day for the same thing and it is completely under control.  If it goes back up again go to the ER.  You need tests to find out what is causing it.  In my case it is mitrovalve prolapse which I apparently was born with.  I am 59 (today, yeah) and it hasn't gotten any worse in the last  30 years.

My mom has it too but she doesn't have a problem with hers. It was found by accident. I looked it up on Google and it said that it was hereditary and 90% of the time it was in women. So sounds like I have a pretty good chance of getting it or already have it.

In matters of the health of the heart... Especially matters of sudden disruption, Experts need to be consulted ASAP.

I'm too young for this. I'm only 22.

Not true. I remember when I was in high school, one of the most popular young men in school, 17 years old, went to the drive in with his GF. While watching the movie he laid his head on her shoulder and went to sleep... and died of a heart condition he didn't know he had. The poor girl tried to wake him up and he never did. You know you have something wrong, you should have it looked into.

Checking my BP and heart rate twice a day for 7 days. Then send the info to the doctor to see if he thinks there's a problem.

Is this per your Dr.'s instruction or are you just self diagnosing?
I, personally, would get myself to the Dr. Heart disruptions are nothing to play around with.........

Doctors instructions. There's defiantly something wrong with my blood pressure but trying to determine whether it's bad enough to need medicine. I posted my BP was low and that's normal for me. After I posted it started going up and hasn't went back down. It went from low BP to high BP. It's staying around 130/90-135/95 but earlier today got up to 155/98.

There's no such thing as "too young". My son went into complete heart failure due to SVT..... When I was 28 weeks pregnant with him. LUCKILY it was caught, miraculously treated, and he survived. He was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White after birth and was considered cured/healed by his electro-physiologist just before his first birthday. Heart issues are nothing to mess around with.

Sitting and standing doesn't but I can lay down and it will go down some but still be a little high. My dad was put on meds for high BP when he was 19 so it looks like that's where I'm headed.

you could have a magnesium/calcium imbalance. I had those same symptoms and started taking magnesium supplement called Jigsaw. Helped me a lot! In the old days, when someone went to the hospital for heart attack symptoms, they hooked them up to IV full of magnesium. It calms the heart and muscles.
just a thought.

Good luck, I hope you feel better!
