| Can someone suggest some good quality leather barrel reins for me? Ive been using roping reins but I need to buy some more reins and want some that will last me and feel good not too stiff and I like a bit of a heavier rein. |

Location: would like to be where it does not snow | NRS or Smithbrothers, 5/8 latago leather roping reins. If you have a local saddle or leather maker I've had special reins made, for my young horses I like a wide heavy rein, hope that helps. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I'm super picky about my reins. Ordered some Martin braided reins last summer and sent them back because they were too light and flimsy for me. My faves are the 5 plait latigo ones Marlene McRae sells. |

Single round rein....nice and heavy. T4L, I bet you would like these. I don't like those Martin reins either because I feel they are too light. The Wright reins have some weight in your hand. |
