For the ones that are on the road 24/7 do you have families {husbands, wives, and kids (human kids :) } Do they go with you? Stay home? How hard is rodeoing with them home and not seeing them very often? My husband is wanting me to go pro but I dont see how it all works being gone?

Everyone does what works best for them. Lisa Lockhart said in an interview that she and her husband go to the same set of rodeos every year and their kids go with them.  Are you looking at going to the NFR or your circuit? If your horse is winning you don't have to go to every rodeo.

I would like to go to the NFR but my plans never go the way I want them to! I just wanted some opions on how other families made it work?

I'm curious too. I don't have kids yet. I want to get my permit this coming year and maybe one day make NFR. Circuit finals in a few years would be more than great though...I know NFR is far fetched...but I can dream! My hubby doesn't ride. He is a farmer and rancher. Works with crops and cows. Doesn't like riding but is more than supportive and helpful. He won't be able to go on the road with me when I rodeo. I mean I'm sure he will come sometimes but it won't be an every rodeo event, because he has to work. Everyone has to work it out individually, and probably with some trial and error.
