Look up; Takin The Cash, Fourty One JJ, Lee's South.

I would breed to any one of them for a barrel horse. Oh wait, I've bred to all of them. ;)

All well bred, running horses with color.

Next on my list was Troubled Memories. Very disappointed by his passing.

Or that guy looks pretty cool.

I think Geneo JJ passed away. But he has a great son standing if you can find him, Forty One JJ

The web page said he was lost in 13 :-(
But they have frozen semen :-)

Ill look for his son, racebreed apps are hard to find, they dont seem to spend much time on marketing them.

Yep Jen owns him. and she is on FB with a crap ton of pictures of him and his foals. Some of which she has priced very reasonably right now. If I didn't have one already I would have one of hers right now.

Takin the Cash had a full brother running barrels out west. I'd be curious to see how he turned out. I shipped semen from him on my mare, but couldn't get her bred, so sadly don't have one of his foals, but would still love one.

Does it seem like Apps are making a comeback and becoming more popular? Maybe it's just me... I want one for some reason. I used to think they were crazy but maybe they just got a bad rep

That is just a bad rap. And honestly the bloodlines now adays are so similar to QH there is just no reason not to look at one unless you are looking to also run a certain breed circuit.

AJS, who are you? I must know you as you are App person from MI.

And I've always had Apps, so I can't say if they are more popular or not. I do know that people still give one a hard time about having one, unless it is winning. Then they say "pretty good, for an App."

Doesn't matter that we spent years researching and breeding for something that has the physical ability as well as the mind for it. It's not like we just go find a pretty colored horse from a pasture and decide to start it on barrels.
