My boots have officially had it. So now to start the painful(literally) process of boot shopping. I need something that I can wear for hours everyday without my feet hurting. Something that I can ride in clean stalls in load/haul cows in and so on. I am not good to my boots lol. I want something that will last me a while. I wore a pair of Tony Lamas for 6yrs but Tony Lama doesn't make a plane simple boot anymore. All the women's boots are fancy. I'm currently wearing a pair of Justin's and they feel really good on my feet and are so comfortable but they didn't last. So what's out there for a good comfortable riding AND work boot.

I was going to suggest Justin with the rubber sole and J-Flex technology. I have a pair and they are super comfortable. I don't wear them every day, so they're not worn out but I do love them.
I have a pair of Lucchese with the crepe/rubber sole and wore the crap out of them. The soles are so worn that I can't wear them any more, but they have been my favorite boots.

That's what I wore. They lasted a little over 2yrs.

I suggest Tin Haul, I have had mine for 2 years, I haven't worn them every day, but they do still look brand new.

The down side is the sole is plastic very slippery at the beginning for the first week or so.

I bought some Twisted X boots recently. They seemed very well made, good leather, and were very comfy to walk around in, but I sold them because they weren't working for me to ride in.  I don't know if it was that particular style (ladies rough stock) but they swallowed my skinny ankles and I couldn't feel my horse.  I couldn't tell where my spurs were and that was Bad News,  LOL

My husband bought me a pair of Cinch Edge boots, they are very comfy.  See as how they are my "good" boots right now I haven't rode in them.  LOL!

Ariats....the Quickdraws are my favorite. The leather is nice and the rubber sole has nice traction but yet is great for riding.
