Location: CTX | I really like the sore no more spray. Never used the gel, but I have the gel from absorbine and I noticed my horses back looked like he had a fungal type reaction on his back after I used it.... so I will not use that anymore on his back and will go back to the sore no more spray... Not sure if it had anything to do with the gel, but rather not take the risk... |

You probably caused a scurf. Did you apply it fairly often? If so that is what happened. Absorbine is a bit stronger than Sore No More. SNM won't scurf your horse. |

I could be wrong, but I think SNM is the only kind you are supposed to use with PHT. |

No, this was the first time I used the absorbine gel. Good to know. Thanks! I have the absorbine fluid and I put that in a bucket of water to sponge him off after work sometimes, been doing that for years and I have never had that reaction..... So I will not use the gel again. |
