Karol - 2014-11-04 2:27 PM There was a Bluebonnet Feed Mill in Brownwood, Texas.  It was shut down because of bad feed.  When I still went to NBHA they donated a lot of feed for our finals.  There were not too many good things to say and horses would not eat it.

Are you sure it wasn't just a store selling bluebonnet feed? Because the only mill I'm aware of is the one in Ardmore OK?

I am very pleased with the Bluebonnet omega Force and the mare and foal intensify! These feeds have made quite a impact in the looks of all my performance horses and the your ones in whatever growing stage they may be in. I still feed a few yrlings and weanlings the Animal Element Detox as it keeps them from getting the scrawny streatched out body type. With a top line and NO wormy belly. Thanks to the diamatious earth that naturally work together to make you have a well rounded animal! I will go Far far and further for Bluebonnet!!!!!! Best by far.

I bought 10 sacks and my horses would not eat it. I don't like to mix feeds but I had to mix it with another feed to use it up. My farrier said his horses would not eat it either.

No store.  It was a mill.  It was closed down for over 2 years.  I don't live up there any longer, so I don't know if it ever opened back up.

since I started feeding it about 4 or 5 years ago, after my other company went out of business.. I have been pleased.
If I thought something was wrong with it, I simply called the feed store and took it back
they went through a few changes but have always strived to make me happy and I am a NO BODY!
I buy Natures Blend, I dont' use the omega stuff, they have even sent me home with bags to try different ones, and funny but the one bag was moldy and when I opened it I took a picture and sent it to the feed store and had a call from Blue Bonnet rep in like 10 min!
I dont care what feed you buy or where you buy it from... every now and then you get that less then steller bag... and while my feed has been great for years..

Southtxponygirl - 2014-11-03 4:04 PM I really like BlueBonnet feeds, wish we had someone near by that sold it, when I lived in the Valley {border} this was the only feed that I used on my horses, but here no body sells it that I know of.

Here is a dealer locator! http://bluebonnetfeeds.com/store-locator-2/

Did you call your rep for that area?  I would wonder if the feed was old or was stored poorly at the dealer store.  My horses tear into this feed like they haven't eaten in days.
