| Got evidence of critters under the hood of my truck, parked outside, no garage. Any suggestions on what to use to keep them out ? Thanks :) |

| They are attracted to the soy they use for,the coating. Find a place to put some bait bars around your area. Hopefully they will leave you truck alone. If it sits like mine, need to run it once a week or so.

| Put drops of Peppermint oil on rags or cotton balls.. stuff them where they won't start on fire... Mice and rats HATE peppermint. HMMM Maybe you could put a few drops on the engine and when it heats up maybe will be stinky enough under the hood that way. |

If you park it in the spot all the time, maybe try parking in a different area for a while, just move it around to different parking spots. |

| My sister's minivan wouldn't run. Her hubby finally discovered that the mice had invaded the air cleaner and completely destroyed the air filter, shredding it in place for nesting. He was told that Bounce sheets would deter them, so he put the sheets in the air cleaner after cleaning it out and replacing filter. No mice yet after several years. |

Location: Texas | This brings back some memories - we had a problem with mice at our place - went to the oil change place and a huge rat snake fell out of the engine into the pit.
So I guess you could get a snake? |

Yeah.. the old days.... My dad had a new Nissan Maxima and packrats did a $7000+ plus job on the wire harness. That's where we first heard about the soy in the wire coating. Mothballs took care of the problem. |
