Location: Texas | IMO the BEST product is gastrogard or ulcergard. They are definitely not the cheapest though. |

| I have used the MVP Gastro plex on three horses now that had ulcers- without treating them with omeprazole- and it has done WONDERS! I love it! They are also a really great company to deal with |

Location: Willows, CA | The best ulcer treatment is not to get ulcers. The products mentioned above work well to manage existing ulcers. That needs to be done. Once they are under control, changes in the feeding program can really help limit ulcers from being a new problem in the future. Start with getting teeth done. This is vital for several different reasons. Keep a source of roughage that they will eat in front of them at all times. Limit starch and sugars in the diet. Don't feed more than two pounds of any feed concentrate at any single feeding. Keep plenty of clean water in front of them. You would be amazed how much these simple things help once you get existing ulcers cleared up.

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | GastroPLUS, it is affordable. It increases the horse's natural production of mucous to protect the lining of the stomach and intestines. I have a few before and after pictures of horses off the track. The results are amazing. |

Location: Piedmont, OK | My vet says gastroguard or ulcerguard to cure then put them om a diet and supplements to maintain it. My gelding gets low starch feed and alfalfa and all the grass hay he wants daily. I put a splash of aloevera on his feed and I give him In the Zone paste by Animal Element before he goes on the trailer just to keep him relaxed and stress free. |

Location: Got Lobsta? | Gastroguard for 28 days. Gastroguard is expensive, but they do offer a rebate. I got $120.00 back from them within 2 weeks. It cured 3 grade 1 ulcers and 1 grade 3 ulcer. I than put on THE GastoPlus for preventative. I didn't want to take any chances. |
