Like others have said. Just cut and glue on some scrap carpet and I have a feeling problem will be solved.

Crowned Image - 2014-11-10 12:36 PM I upgraded to these type of racks and haven't had an issue since. You could stick carpeting on them and I bet it will keep them on?

I have these in my Featherlite, however, if you put the blanket racks above the saddle, your horn slips in the center and keeps the saddle from falling off.
On the Sundowner I used to have I had the same issue. I ended up using a bucket strap. Clip it to the rack above and simply loop the end over the horn of the saddle below it. They may move sideways, but wont fall.

I have the same problem .. had it in the Sundowner I owned as well as the Featherlight … Gonna try the carpet or indoor/outdoor grass and see what that does … Not sure what to do about the bridle racks .. stuff ends up on the floor all the time. It's so annoying and I'm not a wild driver either!

I agree. We got a heavy industrial carpet and screwed it in with a drill. Works great

I have to bungie cord mine on :/

This ^^^ And I have carpet on my saddle racks. If I don't bungee them down, they'll all be on the floor. I just hook it underneath the rack, go up around the horn a couple of time and back down to hook under the rack again. Works great.

I have a featherlite trailer and the saddles are always off the racks. The old featherlite had better saddle racks and I never had a saddle slip. If those who use the bungee cords could post some pictures, I'd sure appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!!

Seems like we need to petition for better saddle/bridle racks. I've never thought of turning the saddle around though. How simple! But I've got a bridle rack problem. I've got a Kiefer and purchased it used. My bridle rack was installed on the  side with the horses. How crazy was that! Also if anyone has a 2000 model kiefer and can send me a pic of the butt bar setup I would appreciate it. Mine came lacking one and now I'm getting paranoid thanks to the I-20 accident.

For the butt bar issue
When mine broke off in our old Keifer I just went and bought some chain and hooked it to the ring that the old butt bar was hooked to.  Put a bull snap on the other end, problem solved.
