I just purchased this mare for what I consider a real deal. sire and Dam have produced multiple AAA with full siblings. The man who bred her was in his mid 80s and just couldn't do it any more. One of her full sister is a 1D horse here locally. She is 5 and only halter broke, considering the bad reputation Mr eye opener has she is learning faster than some 2 year olds. She passed a vet check so now it's just rehabbing her. I hope to put 300 pounds on her, her coat really hides how thin she really is. Vet scored her about a 3.i want to see others rehabbed babies!...I will attempt to post photos...I tried getting the photo of her small enough and gave up after 4 attempts ...her papers did post up as a down load...BHW...you are confusing

You can go to shrinkpictures.com and there is a resize option. It's really pretty easy.

Here is my Craigslist find. When I went to look at him we did a flex test he was lame on 3 legs, covered in rain rot, had a tick on him, and was mentally fried. But I had to have him and you know how that goes lol. I found videos of him on YouTube with one of his previous owners, and come to find out he is off the track. He has turned out to be an awesome horse that anyone can ride. The first picture is when I bought him on September 28 2013, the second is on October 23 2013, and the last picture is from November 2 2014.
Here he is on allbreed http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cancun+corona

I got a 4yr old filly in over the summer who had been with a local trainer. She was pretty thin and had lost a lot of muscle. She bounced back pretty fast and is a little fatty now. I will put a picture up of before after. She was thinner when I first got her we took pictures after we had her a couple weeks. I have had several Mr Eye Openers and loved them !

By far the most drastic change that's happened in my barn is Pinkie, many of you here have seen his pics since I first got him. He started off as a barely halter broke 3 year old who came through the sales ring for $75. He's turned into a super honest all around show gelding, ranch horse & now I'm training him for mounted shooting.

I saw a horse listed on Craigslist that looked pretty good but when I went to see him, well let's just say he was skinny.  A coming 3 yr old stud in a quarter acre lot with a bunch of junk and no hay.  Don't know what kept him from being all cut up. I thought they wanted too much for the condition he was in and made a low ball offer that they refused.  I hated leaving him there.  They called me in a couple of days with a counter offer and I could not get there fast enough.  There was snow on the ground and we went to pick him up anyway and  if you know anything about Texas weather, the world shuts down when there is snow on the ground.  I wish I had a picture of when we first got him. His hips caved in instead of rounding out.  To say the least, he has far surpassed my wildest dreams. My granddaughter is rocking on him now. He won the long round and the average at the THSRA Founders Rodeo in Hallettsville last month.

I wish I could like all of these. They are awesome. I'll try to post mine. I went on the broodmare hunt a few months back to get a mare to breed in the spring so that I had enough time to look for what I wanted. I had 2 mares set up to look at one night after looking at several and when I saw this mare she was very skinny, about a 3 also, and even looked better than her pasture mates. Her feet were horrid. Tail fuzzy, dread lock mane.... Anywho I HAD to have her. In just 1 week she looked different. In 3 weeks (now) she is almost fat. I am struggling with her top line a little bit but she is 1/2 TB appendix. 16hh.

Here is mine Sallyes Dash To Win shes a daughter of Dash For Perks I recently bought off here. I didn't get a "deal" on her by no means. She has a ear half torn off, a permanent white spot in her eye from a scratch, broken tail and her culture came back that she is eat up with E Coli. BUT after a few hundred in vet bills and a TON of good feed she will come back around :)

I have a grand daughter of Oklahoma Fuel and I have found that she is tough! And smart to boot. Just show her where she needs to put her feet and body a couple of times in the practice pen and she seems to catch on quick. We started this year not even touching the 5D and ended up in between the 3D and 4D. She was quick to learn the pattern, but slow to add the speed to it. It was a fight if I pushed her to speed it up, I had to wait for her to "figure" out that she could actually run inside the arena. She's not a rescue, but she has been passed around a lot for only being 6. I am owner #5. And no I don't have pictures on my work computer. Wish I did though.
