Undercover Amish Mafia Member Posts: 9992 Location: Kansas	How do you go about earning a ROM for your horse? Appendix papers on a mare, friend of mine is looking for her to get her regular papers.

Namesless in BHW Posts: 10368 Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs	Either run a SI80 on the race track or go to AQHA shows and earn enough points for it.

Tried and True Posts: 21185 Location: Where I am happiest	There are alot of shows in the midwest. The AQHA website will have them listed. Also most states have a state AQHA club that puts on shows in your state. It takes 10 points to earn a ROM. A horse can earn multiple ROM's if your showing in multiple different classes. Points are awarded per the number of entries per class. So the bigger the class, the more points earned. Edited by ThreeCorners 2014-12-02 6:34 PM

Expert Posts: 1384 Location: Kansas	The horse can only get one racing or open ROM no matter how many points he has in an all events. All points earned in any class in a division (open, amateur or youth) are addded together for the ROM for that category. In amateur and youth I am not sure if it's one per division or one per owner/exhibitor in the division. Superiors are awared per each event (50 points)
