 Am I really the Weirdo?
Location: Kansas | My sister-in-law has her own trail horse now and I've been told more than once that she is expecting me to get her stuff for him this Christmas. lol. I already ordered a custom bronc noseband for his halter, but my brother mentioned that none of their breast collars fit this beast. He is seriously 16.1 barefoot so not a small fella. I'm feeling kind of lucky that we had a headstall big enough for him! I'm looking for ideas of where to look for an XL breast collar. I'm not looking for Fallon Taylor style bling or anything but something nice that will fit him. And just because I can, I'm sharing her original pic of when Mom & I delivered him to her, and also a pic of him two months later. I haven't seen him without his blanket on recently but I'm told they need a bigger cinch now.....yay!

I would prefer to do leather. Probably about the only time she'll ride in "public" will be a couple of local parades or if saddle club has a trail ride, but all the tack I've left over there is leather. The headstall is actually a painted white one that Chance won a few years ago, but I've got a light oil one the same size that my brother's mare won so matching that would be ideal. If I find a plain leather one, I have a friend here in town who could probably paint something on it. |

Oooh good point. I will see what I can get done with that angle. I just found out that Ace is 24 years old and has Jet Deck and Three Bars ON his papers. There is a ton of TB on his bottom side. Somehow he got stuck with the name "Aint Got A Name." :( |
