Allen ranch VS Double J

I'm saving up to buy a saddle and I'm in love with Allen ranch and double j! I run 4+ barrel horses so I need something that's a generally Versitile fit.. Price wise there tit for tat, but if I'm gonna drop $1000+ on a saddle I want reviews... Which has the better fit? Which has the better materials? How do they hold up? All opinions welcome!
Thanks in advance!

My vote is between the two, allen ranch, I live just miles from Double J and would not own one, they are just an assembly line factory made saddle, if you were around " the land of leather" you would see why.... Ammerman is right down the road hands down a better barrel saddle than anything Double J makes

I have both. I have an extremely hard to fit mare so my AR saddles slid on her, Double J Pozzi Pro wide fit fits her perfectly. I live by AR & have known the owners my whole life. They make really good saddles which is all I've ever used until recently & they always fit everthing I had except for my mare which is why I tried the Double J Pozzi. I find the Double J saddles to be an excellent made saddles with heavy duty leather, very well made saddles. I like the deeper seat & higher cantle on the Double J Pozzi. I've bought a 2nd one for my other horse I run I like them so much. Still have an AR saddle that I will ride on ocassion & as a back up but I'm pretty happy with my Double J's.

Definitely check out Allen Ranch. They have some cool new designs on barrel saddles and are even building one with a flex tree now. I live just down the road from them and will be ordering one myself eventually. I love the new design that looks like a Ranch/Barrel Saddle. They are giving one at the BFA this year. It's very cool.
