With God all things are possible

| I remember the day Jesus touched my heart,to be my Lord and Savior. I was twelve years old, I cried uncontrollably , walked to front of church. Days after that I had ruptured appendix. At that time I didn't truly understand what being my Savior meant. Years went by, trial , tribulations lots of prayers. June 27, 2003, I was sitting in front of doctors office , to get results of biopsy on my breast. I prayed with tears, for forgiveness, to guide me and use me as a vessel , not only help me understand being my Lord and Savior meant, but to help others to Him. During my breast cancer, two surgeries, 33 radiation, 8 chemo. I became closer to Jesus than I ever had before. I understand that Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Spending some time thinking about God's generous gift of His Son. He is a gift we must humbly receive.
God has guided me to BHW to share my daily journey as I walk with Jesus. I pray that each of you at sometime or another allowed Jesus to touch your heart enough, to ask Him to be your Lord and Savior.
THANK YOU Jesus, for the way You influence my heart, draw my Spirit, and delight my soul. Your gracious generosity will keep me forever grateful!
Now I am persuaded that the light shone often on my eyes, but I was blind; therefore I thought that the light had never come there. The light was shining all the while, but there was no power to receive it. The eyeball of the soul was not sensitive to the divine beams. Sharing the gospel with those for whom no one has prayed is like encouraging a blind man to view a beautiful sunset with you. It is a hopeless case, for he is blind. He cannot see! Unless the Holy Spirit removes the demonic blinders and opens his mind and heart to the gospel, he cannot be saved because the things of God are "foolishness to him" 1 Corinthians 2:14
It is important to pray for souls to be saved, we must learn how to do it. Praying for the lost is an area about which much is said but little is known or understood. It is like trying to open a locked safe without knowing the combination; no matter how valuable are the contents, we eventually get frustrated or quit.
But eternal souls for whom Christ died are much too valuable for us to quit. Therefore, we must learn how to pray effectively for them. It may be your prayer that keeps someone out of hell. Jesus did only what He saw His Father do John 5:19 Likewise, we should do only what we see our Lord doing. He ever liveth to make intercession Hebrews 7:25 All of us are to do what we see our Lord doing, praying for others. One of the most powerful means of praying effectively involves strong reasons to God why our prayers must be answered. He even commands us to do this in Isaiah 41:21 "Produce your cause, saith the Lord, bring forth your strong reasons. Faith is another Biblical basis for praying for the lost. Jesus said, ALL things are possible to him that believeth Mark 9:23 All things certainly include the salvation of souls. If you can believe God for someone's salvation, you shall receive it. For when a Christian prays, his capacity to achieve and his power to do good are multiplied a thousand, and yea a hundred thousand fold. This is no exaggeration, the reason being that when man prays God works. God has placed praying ,the number one priority in our lives. Communication with God through our prayers Hear the cry of God's heart.1 Timothy 2:1-4 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications prayers, intercessions, and giving thanks, be made for all men.... who will have all men be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth .
My prayer for you today: Father God, I lift up each of my brothers and sisters, in Your Holy Name Jesus Christ. Lay Your hand of grace on each to guide them to their salvation. Help them to become a vessel, in Your Name, to bring others lost to You. I pray ALL these things in the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS MY LORD AND SAVIOR AMEN
