| lexyy12 - 2014-12-26 1:05 PM bccanchaser16 - 2014-12-26 1:56 PM Kat Von D foundation covers up tats pretty nicely, or it did mine. I did have a little problem with it sweating off (wedding was at 2 pm, 98 degrees with 90% humidity) and had to reapply once or twice. I forgot about that stuff!! Someone else mentioned that before to me. Where can I get that? Our wedding is Oct 3rd in the evening so it is more likely to be chilly than hot
sephora carries her tattoo makeup and you can snag it online too!
Personally - own the tattoo. It is a part of you and who ya are :)
Congrats, we are getting married on that same day! Great minds think alike!! |

Hmm...part of me says Own it.. And don't cover...or maybe just do your hair falling over that shoulder?
But...I can see why you may want to cover for the big day if it doesn't fit the look you want for that day. Makeup can run or smear can't it? That would look far worse than any tattoo if it got on the dress right? Maybe the cover stuff doesn't run?
A shawl or little jacket is a nice idea too.
And others have said the photog can brush it out.
What exactly does the tattoo say? I can't make it out on my screen?

"Dream as if you will live forever, Live as if you will die tomorrow" I love the quote and placement but the quality of the work is horrible. If it looked good I would totally be fine with it being out. My sister went to cosmetology school back in the day and said she might be able to help me cover it, if not my hair will be down so I will try and keep it covered and have the photographer edit it out. |

If the quality of the work is what bothers you, would it be possible to go back to a different tattoo artist and have it "touched up" so to speak? They might be able to improve the appearance of it without changing the actual quote itself...just a thought! |

I had my artist look at it(whom I trust very much) and with how thick and close together the letters are...the only good option is to cover it with something else. Which I plan on doing in the future.

Got it! Then I would definitely check out either Dermablend or the Kat von D products. Not sure about Dermablend, but I know Kat von D is available at Sephora :) I've never tried covering a tattoo with the Kat von D, but I thought the foundation had excellent coverage and wore well! |
