The perimeter of my property is  wood posts and wire fencing with a top rail. My cross fencing is done with t-posts and wire fencing. I would like to be able to put a top rail on the cross fencing but am not sure of what bracket to use. A neighbor down the road has Shire Horse Clips on his t posts that holds his 3 rail fence. I love the ease of use of those but unfortunately, they do not make them any more from what I can see. Any ideas or experiences on what can be used successfully/safely to add a top rail on t-posts?
Thanks for any help!

Never have been able so my thought on this is duck tape and or baling twine . These items are capable of fixing anything.

My husband used pipe for a top rail by using a torch to cut a t shape to slide over the top of the posts.

Weld bolts sticking straight up off the T-post? You could even use all thread.

Drill holes in the wood and tie on to the t-post with wire would be pretty simple.

Drill a couple of holes in the board and attach with U bolts---a little more permanent.

Coming from someone that has made 10,000 fencing mistakes, don't do this.. You will be much further ahead both in money and time if you just get t post covers and go with some ramm fence or some other make that has wide plastic with electric in it.. It will cost a little more but TRUST me it will save you a TON in the end!   The horses will push on those boards and bend your t posts over, break boards, impale themselves on whats left, and lord only knows what else..
