If a horse bobs its head down right before the fore leg swings all the way back
(while still touching the ground
), where would you first look for the problem?Β

Their head goes down on the sound leg, so look to the opposite leg for the lameness if his head is going down while the one foot is still on the ground.

If I am understanding what you are asking, I believe the saying is..head down is feet or ankles and head up is knees.
