So I got a pair of white Iconoclast boots for Christmas and they are so white, pretty, and most importantly clean looking! Lol. Is there any way to help keep them this way? I really don't want them to end up permanently stained by sand but maybe that's inevitable? Anyone ever spray scotch guard on them? Lol Tips? Thoughts? :) thanks!

Β  If you do a search I think there was a thread on this just a little while ago. I want white boots really bad but am nervous about the staining as well.

Thanks everyone! And thanks Longneck for posting the link for me! I don't know why that didn't come up when I searched. Maybe my "keywords" weren't right :/

I've never owned white boots just because the thought of keeping them clean scared me. However I have a long legged, dark bay TB mare who looks gorgeous in white so I gave in.  I went ahead and scotch guarded them....now crossing my fingers! lol

What exactly is the scotchguard supposed to do?  Does it keep stuff from sticking to the boots (as in more slick) or does it just help with keeping them from getting stained so badly??

I used their fabric protector stuff. It's just supposed to repel liquids and block stains. I've used it on suede fringe before on breast collars to keep it from getting gross due to sweat & dirt. Seemed to work pretty good, however my fringe was not white! lol

It'll be worth a try anyway!!!!  I have a new pair of white iconoclasts sitting in my closet... I need to put them in the trailer, but I'm months away from using them and I'm afraid that the plastic bag will come open and dust will start setting in!!! lol

Take them out of the box new, place them in a glass case and hang it on the wall...
