Location: IL | So I got a pair of white Iconoclast boots for Christmas and they are so white, pretty, and most importantly clean looking! Lol. Is there any way to help keep them this way? I really don't want them to end up permanently stained by sand but maybe that's inevitable? Anyone ever spray scotch guard on them? Lol Tips? Thoughts? :) thanks! |

There was another thread about this not to long ago.... I forgot who started it though!! I just wash mine...I know people have a lot of good tips though! |

What exactly is the scotchguard supposed to do? Does it keep stuff from sticking to the boots (as in more slick) or does it just help with keeping them from getting stained so badly?? |

I used their fabric protector stuff. It's just supposed to repel liquids and block stains. I've used it on suede fringe before on breast collars to keep it from getting gross due to sweat & dirt. Seemed to work pretty good, however my fringe was not white! lol |

It'll be worth a try anyway!!!! I have a new pair of white iconoclasts sitting in my closet... I need to put them in the trailer, but I'm months away from using them and I'm afraid that the plastic bag will come open and dust will start setting in!!! lol |

Yep, that was my thought too, might as well try it! :)
Ha! I'd keep them in the closet til I was ready to use them! lol
