Who is planning to enter the barrel race in Fort Worth right before the American. There's some info on it out on the BBR site, but not a lot. Anyone know of another place that I'm just missing?

There the entry form.  I'm out - $250 a run for $10,000 added is too rich for my blood.  I think they'll get a good turnout in the futurity and the invitational.  I'm optimistic that after this year maybe they'll look at either dropping the fees for the 4D or adding lots more $$$$.  If it was $150 a run, I'd do it.  I can't see spending that for anthing other than a super consistent 1D horse.  Entries must be received by Feb 1.

This is about how I feel. There'd need to be a bit more added, or a lower entry fee for me to make the trip. I believe we paid $100 EF (plus office charge) to run at Jud Little's Open 4D that had $10,000 added. The futurity and invitational should be fun to watch though :)

I really want to see it work and become a huge annual deal.  I was planning to enter......guessing the fees would be 100~125 a run.  I'm sad.

Jud's was $100 (I'm pretty sure).. CC5D finals had $18,500 added to the open for $85 a run.  I think you can enter the BBR finals for under $200 for $50,000 added.  I entered Stephenville the end of this month  with $8500 added for $55 a run....  I can't justify the math.  $250 and they're still holding 25%?

Well, duh! Thanks I had that the other day and for the life of me couldn't find it. It is pricey for the payout. I know the facility charges and a lot and I don't think very barrel race friendly. I live here in town about 20 minutes away, so I was thinking of going. I didn't see any day fees mentioned or any mention of the fees/arrangements for the Tuesday night 4D that I think it's separate from the other races. It will be fun to watch.

Does anyone know if you can still mail in entries with tomorrow's postmark?  Since Feb. 1st is a Sunday.

Thanks

You can enter online today.  If the sections don't fill, they will accept late entries for $25 a rider.  (Previously they were not going to take late entries).
