| Seems like most people go with the Soft Rides, but wondering if anyone has ever used the Cavallo Simple Hoof boot? Looking for something to use during trailering/stalling. Opinions please! |

| I used the cavalleo boots, and had the proper fit, and it rubbed my horses back of pastern raw, I am talking every horse, not just one.
To prevent the rubbing I had to use gator pastern wraps sold with old macs, the cavalleo pastern wraps don't protect the heels or lower back of pastern, also a royal pain in the ass to put on.
They are not good shock absorbers. They do sell a gel insert, honestly it doesn't last, mine horses wore holes in it within a day.
For hoof boots I use old macs, I have one horse who lives in them 24/7. I have rode in the mountains mud up to knees, and through rivers, and yet to loose one. My oldest set is 6 yrs old, and starting to break down as 24/7 in the snow the leather is breaking. |

| I wouldn't use any of the boots 24/7 cavallo says they are good for 20 miles a day. That being said I wouldn't want them to live in them. I DO use them for trail riding and have no issues with them. I duct tape people socks to protect the heel bulbs of my horses foot. The people socks do a good job but are only good for one ride. |

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | There are socks for like $13 each for short term use. I'm not sure at what sight they are on. It's basic ly a soft slip on boot. try horse.com, or horseloverz.com |

Location: The barn...where else? SW Missouri | I used Renegade hoof boots on my horse when he was barefoot. I tried Cavallos and they rubbed a raw spot on him first try. Swiss boots are also really good. |

Location: Ainsworth, NE | I use the RX boots from the easy boot company!!
Go to www.easycareInc.com and then click on the therapy tab and what are the options will be the RX boot I also have their transitions and the trail. The first two options have padding for shock absorption but the trail does not, so I add my own pads to that one
I messaged you some additional information |

Location: Texas | I have both the Soft Rides and the Easyboot Trails. I bought the additional pads to put in the Easyboot Trails. The Easyboot Trails are easier on/off and are lighter for the horse to walk in. You can ride in them too if you get a good fit. For the money, I think the Easyboot Trails with pads are a better investment since they aren't as expensive, you can use them in the stall, trailer, turn out or for riding. The Soft Ride cushion is thicker & softer, but the Easyboot Trails with pads are adequate for most situations. |

I don't know how much I can post because I don't want to be advertising on a thread and get the thread deleted. But if anyone would like to message me I would be glad to visit more!! |
