I never had a BOT blanket, but I invested in a Benefab sheet and my gelding starts yawning and falling asleep as soon as I start buckling straps. I was amazed. I do have BOT quick wraps to help warm up his joints before riding, and only hauled with them on in our colder days. I did invest in some PHT hock wraps, and I've been using them on myself for my foot surgery. I have been able to wiggle my toes and swelling has gone down substantially compared to when I got my other foot done. I can't tell you yet if my gelding prefers these over his BOT wraps yet.
