Saddle Help
Lickable I mean Likeable

I have a Lynn Mckenzie Nueva tree. It fits my horse every where but the top of her back. She is I guess wide there and the saddle is tight enough to make her uncomfortable. I am borrowing a Sherry Cervi Racer by Martin right now. It seems to fit but I miss the way my Lynn sits. Are there any saddles out there that will compare to the Lynn in sit but accommodate the wide top of my mares back?

You can get the Nueva in a wide version, same angles and all just a wider gullet. I am considering ordering exactly that for one of mine.... actually that may be a better fit for both of my horses than the nueva and the wide I am using on them now. I have exactly the same issue as you do and for right now, I am trying to "get by" with using my saddleright pad with it which kindof lifts the saddle up off of the back just a little and gives him just a little more room in the gullet that he needs until I find a better alternative.

She has plenty of room in the shoulders. Its the flat of her back on her top line that its tight. I don't think a wider gullet will help there. I swear getting saddles to fit these horses will drive you to drink!
