The sun will warm up the leather and help the oil soak in deeper. If you cleaning anything with conchos take them off first. To clean conchos(depending on the type) you can clean them with silver cleaner or if there blingy warm water with a couple drops of dish washing liquid and a soft tooth brush or cloth. Make sure to get all the soap off good or it will make them look dull. Not stealing your thread but I want to know how people clean bead work.
