Location: Sunny California		I have a gooseneck trailer with the entire dressing room carpeted. It started leaking into the dressing room and I thought I had fixed it, but it rained and now it's wet again. The inside also does get a lot of condensation in the winter and is wet due to this also. I just removed the water tank because it had so much condensation it looked like it was leaking. Anyways, the carpet is very mildewy smelly. I have sprayed it with mildew/mold remover, stain remover, odor destroyers etc. and nothing has worked. I was thinking about having all of the carpet removed and having some kind of liner sprayed in like the ones in truck beds, but I noticed that the carpet is really glued down and don't know how anyone would get it up. Has anyone else done this?

Location: CA		I recently had the same issue. I yanked up the carpet. It was glued down with some serious industrial glue. Almost all of the carpet came up, but what didnt I buffed off with a buffer/sander. After that I used an even stronger glue all over the entire floor then put down large rolls of rubber diamond plate on my floor that I bought online. It was more than thick enough to be awesome tack room flooring, but thin enough that I was able to cut it to fit perfect!! After I glued it down I sealed all the edges with black caulking. It has been AWESOME!!! Way better than any carpet, and completely ended my wet carpet issue. In my trailer the water was sliding from the floor of the horse section up into the floor of the tack room. Sealing the edges with caulking completely fixed it. I did it myself and it only took an afternoon. My husband only added some muscles when pulling out the carpet. You will LOVE the rubber diamond plate. Looks awesome and works awesome.
