Who rides the Lisa Lockhart flex 2 saddles and do you like them??? What type or build of horse do you ride them on? I never see any listed used for sale and was wondering if that's just because people really like them or what?

I just bought then sold one. Lol. I needed a saddle with flare to the bar in the front. So I tried the wide tree. All it had was a massive gullet. The bars didn't seem any different from my other saddles. So I had to sell it since my gelding actually has withers and it didn't clear them well at all.

So definitely get the regular tree if your horse has withers.

The saddle itself is gorgeous! Super light. Well made. Overall just a really nice saddle. I was actually sad it didn't fit!

At one time, they had an extra wide that had flared bars, but apparently due to problems getting that one made, they dropped it.  The wide was too tight on my horse, he needed the flare.  I loved the way it rode.

I have one and love it. It is super super light. My mare has great withers and the reg tree fits her well. I have tried it on a more mutton withered (i.e. no withers) mare and it seems to pinch her, and there is not as much "flex" as you would think. Never tried the wide tree.

My mare is quite mutton withered, flat and wide all the way to the loin. Just trying to narrow down which saddles to try as I'm kind of remote and it's a bit of an ordeal hauling her around to try saddles. The closest town with a tack store is about 3 hrs away from me...

Love, Love mine! Super comfortable saddles and light but the quality of the leather is not as good as Crown C, Double J etc. I have the wide fit and regular fit. The regular fits almost everything I have and the wide fit only fits one of mine decent. Its a good saddle for the price. I think, but not 100% sure it has the same the same tree as the original circle Y Marlene Eddlemans.
