I want to come!  But I've got all my riders farmed out to trainers right now.  I'll start watching for a future clinic around summer time.

Boo is the last man standing - he is just not a fan of barrel clinics at this point in his live...  I thought about taking him, but we would just get into a massive argument and both end up crying....

An over 40 clinic sounds like a great idea!  Is it just to make the older crowd feel more comfortable or are there specific things that over 40 racers need to be doing in order to be the best they can be?

Hi Shelltc, you can go to my FB page "Barrel Racing Clinics by Joy Cameron" and you can get info and updates when they become available. This clinic is in La Grange, March 20th @5pm until March 23rd at 2pm. It is for ladies only 40 and over. $250. Includes a stall... I have limited rv spots, but you may use your generator. A lite meal will be provided for our meet and greet on Friday evening. The clinic was full but someone had a last minute scheduling conflict, so we have one spot open. We'd love to have you join us if you're interested!

Hi Tbred... Both, ;)! It is awesome to be with a group of ladies our own age... We all have so much in common. That being said... yes, there are things that we need to do as we age to help us keep that competitive edge. The physical and often times, the mental challenges that we face can take a toll on us competitively. At the clinic we address both the physical and mental aspect of our game and talk about ways to stay at the top. We can not allow ourselves to be defined or limited by how many years we have been blessed to see. Our best days are still ahead of us and we need to be living them to their fullest! I hope you can join us at one of our clinics! :)

Will you be scheduling any more clinics at different places/arenas?

Hi IHQ... I can do a private clinic for up to 10 people if someone wants to set it up at their location. Just message me if you are interested in putting something together and we can work out the details. Thanks! Joy
