| Thanks everbody, it was very intimidating to go back with an unfinished horse, I think if i never sold my gelding id of never really stayed home after having our second baby.
BUT it was not awful, if anybody is at home missing it, just go. I mean people I never thought rember me came up to say hi and glad to see me out again. Im going to keep getting my mare better and keep getting fitter to ride her better.
For her first time entered she did fantastic. |

| That first run back is always the hardest and most stressful, now you can take a deep breath and be excited for the next one!! |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Congrats Della!!! It is hard to go from seasoned back to the seasoning process. I just keep telling myself that I can fix downed barrels, I can work on a bad ride, I can deal with anything like that, its about coming out of the arena on a sound healthy horse. If that happens the rest is fixable/workable. Now I just have to listen to myself tonight :-) Glad you had fun, the next one wont' be so scary. |

Location: NE Texas | Love it, you two! So glad ya'll are out enjoying it again! I'm ready to do the same. I know the first few runs aren't going to be perfect....it's been a long time since i've gone fast! HAHA I may be the one needing the pep talk here soon, but I think the nerves and everything else we deal with are so worth it and i'm super excited to get to enjoy this colt that i've (and others) worked so hard to get to this point! |
