| Is it worth the money? I'm always looking for something to help my horses feel their best. I don't have any major problems but would like something to relieve some general soreness from hauling and hocks stifles kind of areas. |

| I have one and used it on my horse with kissing spines. I do think that it helped him. I know that it does penetrate because I have used it on myself. It is a little pricey though. Guess it depends what you are going to use it on. |

| It's the cheapest one I could really find. Everything else seems to be like in the thousands |

Location: Gainesville, TX | I have heard the cold lasers work from vets and a couple trainers, promote faster cell growth, but yes you have to have one of the more powerful and expensive ones. |

| So the photonic torch doesn't work in your opinion? |

Haven't used it. I'm saving up for one of the ones that work. Our chiropractor also said the nicer ones work. Three very good vets I trust and two top notch trainers use them and like them too so I would like to have one for our barn. I trust all of them. All of them have great heads on their shoulders and don't fall for anything too gimmicky. There is some actual research, not just anecdotal evidence, behind the cold lasers but you HAVE to have the strong ones. |

I saw my friends horse being worked on by someone with this type and sure looked liked it worked for him. I was just wondering what people's opinions are that owned them. |

| I have the photonic torch .. paid about $500 for it. I use it quite a bit on my horses along the bladder meridian and other pressure points ... more for wellness than a specific issue. My mare especially gets into it .. loves it. My gelding zones out and loves it too...my opinion is you don't have to buy one that costs thousands of dollars. Keep fresh batteries in it and it will do it's job .. my horse chiro uses it as well...

| Yeah that's more what I am looking for. Is there a place to find used ones? |

| I have one and they definitely work! The only negative to it at all is it takes a while to do the treatments if you do it right. Always get very noticeable responses from the horse as I use it, and usually feel much better the next day. Have also used it to treat skin fungus things in the spring and works right away |

Glad you mentioned fungus. My broodmare has scratches so bad! I will get mine out and give it a try. Thanks
