Here's my 2 cents worth. Does Amberley need a tank chair? Probably not, looks like she is the kind of person that has figured her way out around without it. Would it improve her ability to do so. From all the reports it certainly looks that way. She was excited about the prospect of cleaning her own stalls!!! Did she ask you and I to go fund her? Nope. I believe Fallon Taylor did. I'm sure the Fallon haters just want to believe she did it to make herself look good, that could be, none of us will ever know. Regardless by her using her celebrity she did something good for someone else. We could all learn a lesson from that.
My hats off to both ladies and the people that chose to help someone elses life become a little more convenient for them.
Very very well said |

| IRunOnFaith - 2015-03-03 4:39 PM In my opinion one of the reasons the gofundme was started was to raise awarness for quads. To get her story out there ya know? To inspire other girls (and boys) like herself who just want to get back on. Had she just bought the chair it wouldn't have had as big of an impact as the account has had. There wouldn't be discussions about it. There wouldn't be people asking for her to come speak at their events or to inspire others to get back up there and ride. I'm not saying it was for publicity. I'm saying maybe they started it to help others who have never heard of Amberley's story to hear it and to be inspired by it. I Love the idea.
Anyone know what the total was/is?
Besides, to the ones who are saying she couldv'e just bought it herself :
You people would've griped about her having the money to buy one anyway. LOL
amberly has a very low injury she is a para with trynk control a para has full useage of arm and hands a quad like chauncey miller nick smith who rides cutters have limited or no hands and arms depending on injury level
randy bryrd is a para but he would not have truck control like amberly
i have tons of admiration for her she has lot of heart and try can you image grabibg the ladder to your trailer and hoisting yoursefl on she is amazing but so is chauncey so is nick and many many more out there
dragon speak tried it years ago i have enough finger to type lol i can see dragon speak when i get pis.....

Location: Texas | Just wanted to share this with everyone.... This is Amberley on the demo chair that she was able to order. This picture really puts life into perspective, which got me thinking how many daily activities and capabilities we take for granted. I can't even fathom being paralyzed, having to use straps to hold myself in the saddle or a chair that allows me to stand. Such a strong, inspirational young lady! We are blessed folks, don't forget it! God isn't just good sometimes, he is good ALL of the time!

Location: Willows, CA | I have visited with Amberley several times in the last few weeks about nutrition. She is super sharp, and asks all the proper questions to understand how her horse works and what he needs. I am so happy that she is getting this attention. She has the ability to be a role model for a lot of people who have suffered a tragedy and think that their lives can't have value to themselves and others. Lots of people in this situation go through some dark times. They can use a hero, and, in my opinion, Amberley is one.
