Location: The best kept secret in TX | Haven't seen a post in a while. Just wanted to update that we found out we are having a little girl! It will be my first (possibly my only considering I had two doctors tell me before she showed up that there was no way I could healthily carry to term) and my SO's third little girl. We decided to name her Isabella Grace. Isabella meaning Devoted to God and Grace meaning in God's Favor. I am dead set on calling her Bella or Grace. SO wants to call her Izzy. We will figure that out later I guess. We are very excited! So excited in fact that we sold some furniture we didn't use in order to buy her and the girls their own saddles to ride in instead of the old ranch saddle we no longer use. We figured it would be easier for three girls to have their own saddles rather than share LOL
I am using a midwife and delivering at home. So far baby is very healthy accoding to our birthing center we recieve sonograms at. A few ounces underweight but is measuring two weeks ahead on her femur. So she will be very long and lean!
I was posting because I was just curious: Are there any cleanses I can do while pregnant that are safe? I feel very bloated for how far along I am (21 Weeks). I used to do cleanses all the time just to get the toxins out of my body and feel better. But since baby I haven't done one. Opinions? Experiences?
Feel free to post an update about your pregnancy as well. I know my horses are fat and happy enjoying their spring/summer off! |

When I was pregnant with my boys, I felt very bloated and 10x bigger than I really was. I was also still working in the barn and processing cattle, in the middle of the Texas summer, so I always felt dehydrated. My doctor recommended a glass of water with lemon or lime juice and a table spoon of honey. I know it sounds nasty, but with cold water you hardly taste the honey; I still drink at least one a day. It will cleanse your body, keep you hydrated and its very simple.
ETA: I love the name Bella and Izzy! Very cute names.

Thank you so much!! My midwife said I should be drinking about 80 ounces of water a day!! She calculated that from how much I weigh now somehow. Whew losts of water... I'm always running from my desk or the photo shoot room to go tinkle LOL I love honey so I will have to try that!
I hate feeling bloated... it's no fun |

Location: Texas | Lol.. I meant to also so that you will notice it working because you'll have to go potty a lot more. But if you are already drinking lots of water there shouldn't be much change. Hopefully it helps, when your pregnant any little bit helps! |

Location: Idahome | Lemon water helps a ton. I fill up a gallon jug with water and slice a lemon and leave it in the fridge over night and drink that all the next day. |

Yes a whole lemon. If you like cucumber, slicing some of the as well is good for you and adds flavor to the water. |

| I will be 19 weeks on sunday and we just found out on Tuesday that we are expecting a little girl. I'm SO excited! Hubby is a nervous wreck and already has the shotguns loaded, lol. We haven't decided on a name yet. Hubby doesn't like any of my suggestions. I've wanted to name a little girl Hadley Claire for years but he isn't into it. :(
I still have morning sickness and don't have a big appetite. I pretty much live off pickles, fudge bars and little debbie cakes. I've lost over 25 pounds since I got pregnant but everything is fine with baby girl according to my doctors. I don't feel like I look pregnant at all, just like I've ate too much at dinner or something. |
