We have a Doc O Dynamite daugter out of a Peppy San Badger daughter going to El Scorcho this year. I've never had many Doc Bar mares around, but lordy be, I love this mare. We love this mare. I would do anything for another just like her.

Have this little mare too. A daughter of Pat Cowan out of a daughter of Wilywood. She's a catty mare. Had bought her to resale, but she isn't going anywhere now.

Had a daughter of Shiners Lena Doc, heck of a little barrel horse, should have never sold her. Currently run a Hollywood Dun It and is solid 1D at the big shows. Love my cowbred horses and they can really eat up a barrel.

There are some in Oklahoma running, I believe, and doing very well.

Goldseekers do very well too.  Prefer cowbred horses over race bred - more heart & gritty as heck plus they seem to hold up longer.

I really like the foundation breds... I really like Lone Drifter on Sun Frost.... goes back to Docs Jack Frost/Driftwood Ike. Smart horses that excel in many arenas and can handle the pressure of multiple events.

We have a Doc stud & my barrel mare is a Poco bred horse :) Her registered name is Poco Tari's Beauty, and let me tell you, she's not super easy to ride, you can't just sit up there and lob along, you have to RIDE. but MAN she can fly, AND any time we work cows or ride out in the pasture she will watch a cow. She LOVES to hate a cow. lol She's cow bred on both sides but she's catty, put together & sits down and snaps around them :) But like I said, she's definitely not an easy rider/keeper. Low maintenance overall, but SASSY.

I have a Grays Starlight/ Blue Duck Okie that is no bigger than a pony, literally....  She isn't even 14 hands tall that just won a barrel race with 86 entered by .2.  She does everything so effortlessly that I just hold on!

I bought her from a horse sale as a reject cutter February of her 3 year old year and turned her out until September of her 4 year old  year and by December she was running bottom of the 1D, and that was without any pushing at all, like she MAYBE went around the barrel 4 days a week a few times a night.  She was so broke I showed her what to do and she did it, including when it came to picking her speed!  Lol.  It literally becomes a 'watch this mom' when I run her, so literally I hang on and she does it!  LOVE LOVE LOVE her, and she has a personality to go along right with it!
