I am tall and lean, no brand of ladies shirts I have tried fits me. The sleeves and tails are always too short. If I buy it large enough to get the length needed it looks like I am wearing enough fabric to make a tent big enough to house a family.
I have gone to wearing men's dress shirts. The nice ones that have a collar and sleeve size rather than "small", "medium" or "large". Much better fit.

That is a great idea. So like a 15.5x32 or something like that? |

| I really like the Wrangle 20x shirts and Cruel Girl Arena Fit. I can get by with some other brands for just "going out" shirts but those two are my die hard rodeo/barrel race shirts. Sleeves are long enough and I'm not tuckin' myself back in all the time. |

| 6pm.com is awesome - so awesome I feel like I shouldn't be giving away my secret ;) They have Ariat, Cruel Girl, Roper, Stetson, Rock & Roll Cowgirl, and probably a few others I'm missing for anywhere between $20-35 dollars. Shipping is ALWAYS free. I check the website a few times a week. Things sell pretty fast, but they are always putting up new stuff.

Exactly. I have tried a few on in a store like JcPennys to be sure of my size (14 1/2 collar, 33 sleeve) some brands have different fits. I think Ralph Lauren has a modern fit which is slightly fitted which is flattering. Then I keep saved searches on eBay for those brands, sizes and fit. Sometimes I get some on sale at stores.
The only thing is that you don't get all the neat patterns or colors that you see in women's styles but I prefer the plainer shirts. If I go nuts I get the fancy french cuffs...lol |
