   Location: Albany, Georgia | I have a gelding that that due to several misdiagnoses, has side effects due to EPM. He has been treated but he will never be able to run again, so he lives happily retired in the pasture. I know from reading that these horses have a compromised immune system, so I'm concerned with vaccinating him. What's your thoughts?? |

You have misunderstood. The horse HAS EPM and she wants to know about using common vaccinations on him since she thinks his immune system is compromised. |

There used to be one. I got it for my horse two years in a row. But it didn't work. So, they don't make it anymore. |

   Location: Oklahoma | I waited until after I had my re-test results back and vaccinated. He took them like a normal healthy horse at that point. |
