 Don't Wanna Make This Awkward

Location: Texas | I bought a wither strap from this girl on facebook on March 24th. She told me it would take about a week to make.. After not hearing from her at all I messaged her and asked how it was going on Wednesday April 1st(1 week, 1 day lay later) This was a wednesday and she said it would go out that friday. So the next week April 8th I asked if she had sent the stocking stuffer friday because I hadn't gotten it yet.. She said no it was going today(april 8th) and that she had to wait for a buckle to come in.. I was kinda mad at this point it was already later than I expected and I wish she would have just told me there was a delay.. She asked me for my address that day so I assumed she shipped it, it will be a week tomorrow and I haven't heard from her or received anything. I asked a few hours ago if she would send me a tracking # but no reply yet. I think if she hasn't replied by tomorrow morning i'm going to tell her I want my money back. I need it for BBR finals.
Am I being dramatic? Is it too soon to be mad, or too late ? I've never experienced anything but perfect service, I just never usually order anything custom. |

| I think you are being too dramatic
People who custom make things, sometimes it is beyond their control, she may have expected the buckle to be in on a certain day, but when she got her order, that specific one was on back order.
If she is still speaking to you, I would let it go.
The post office is known to take their sweet time, it also depends on how you requested it to be shipped |

Location: Arkansas | I don't think you are being unresonable, and I dabble with some custom tack making myself. Yes, things happen sometimes that are out of a makers control, but usually a little communication goes a long way. When I do an order, I try and keep the customer informed. She should have let you known there would be a delay without you having to ask. I also ALWAYS ship with a tracking number, and send that number to the customer when their item ships. |

| Paypal usually wont take a dispute until 45 days from purchase. Maybe you will get it before then. |

Location: Texas | Thank you guys! It's not a huge deal, i'm just starting to get a bad feeling. Gave her 28 hours to respond to me asking for the tracking # (she's never taken this long to reply) then sent this message:
"Hi ****, I really need this wither strap before next wednesday so I can use it at the BBR Finals. I need to know if you shipped it if this is a problem I need to take up with the post office/fed ex/ups or how you shipped it. Ive never had anything take more than a week to get somewhere.. "
How long should I wait with no reply to let her know i'm going to report to paypal? Or further question her? What should the next step be. I'm just glad if this is a scam I'm only out $35 and not anymore... |
