Slick, Skye, and Disco are all on Ultium as well as super sport. Slick is a very picky eater and he cleans it up. There is so much research on the super sport. It allows for muscle recovery numerous times faster then without. It is intended for the horse that is really working hard. We also have most of our show horses on Ultium and have NOT found it to make our horses hot or nervous.
The research center for Purina is amazing! There is no other feed company that has anything close to the research center that Purina has. They give tours and lectures numerous times a year and are so worth attending.

There is some great research on Super Sport it for Muscle Recovery. It gets their levels back to normal after strenuous exersize by the next day. If they are not on it their levels are not back to normal for like 5 days. Very interesting stuff check out the research ! I don't think it is somthing that you put your horse on and notice a difference in heir apperience.
