Other than Taylor Jacob's "Bo," what are some of his offspring that are performing well?

Anyone with personal experience with one of his colts?

Well, I've got 2... A month old and 2 days old! Lol! I am very pleased with them!!! I'll let you know in a few years, lol. But seriously, I was going to buy one of his prospects after watching them move. But my mare had a career ending accident, (i had to buy a finished horse)so the next year I bred 2 mares to him. We watched Taylor season Bo at some CPRA's the year before she went to the NFR. There's several videos of his offspring on YouTube. He was ranked 11th in 2013 something barrel sires... Not sure how they do the ranking stuff.

Have a daughter of his. Love her, unfortunately she got injured and is now out for a while. Shes 7 this year. In your pocket type of horse. Show her once and she thinks she nows it. Was just starting to come into herself and know shes out. (sorry just got the bad news yesterday) Pretty quiet.

I have one.... easy keeper, laid back, easy to ride... he does get ****y when you are pulling on him or getting after him for being lazy but that could just be him.. Pretty athletic, I wish he was a little faster between them

this could be a total coincidence but I recently vetted him and he has an OCD lesion in his stifle.. friend just bought one and same thing. Those are sometimes genetically influenced.. Just saying, something to check for if you find one you want to buy

OCDs are not that uncommon and although theres a genetic influence I would not feel confident in saying it came from a certain horse if you know what i mean. It's pretty multifactorial. husbandry, nutrition, amount of exercise, and genetics all come into play on whether a horse gets OCD or not.

yeah, I agree with that. 2 of his offspring with one doesn't really mean any correlation necessarily. I was just sharing my experience :) Mine is out of shoot yeah on the **** side, and I know there are several with jet of honor or firewater flit on that side as well, so the maternal line might be something to consider too when you look for one. (not about the lesion, just meaning what bloodlines you like better). Also, most of the ones around here are on the smaller side. Mine is 14.3

I think it will be about 4-5 years before you really know. After Bo (2014) is when he started to get a lot of mares. He is 14 and only has 65 or so foals that are of age. He has a few on their website. I have a sorrel colt born this year from him that I am really excited about, he has an awesome dam though.

Is your mare heavy running bread? I'm curious what is crossing well on him.  I'm breeding an ASOF mare to him this year.

I seen him when they ran him and he had a lot of rate.Pretty turning style but went at a barrel with his ears back like a cutting horse would on a cow. I have also seen several of his babies working that are nice.

His owner breeds mostly running bred mares to him. I bred 2 mares to him, one is all running bred and the other one is cow & running. I am really pleased with how my babies are looking.

Yes. She is half TB (Apollo) and Out of a daughter of DFC. She has a 105 SI $21,000 and two track records (220,350). The only fault she has is she is small. She is a proven producer too. I don't own her, but I have had two of her babies and convinced the owner to breed her to him. It wasn't a hard decision on his part because he was guaranteed a sale;)
Since I don't know how to reply I should say this is the answer to darchick's question.
