Location: WV		Thoughts on CJ Cactus barrel saddle. I'm looking at one and it seemed to fit really nice. I was only concerned with the gullet because it seemed wide but there was no big gaps but it set lower down And not closer to the wither than my other saddle but it's doesn't fit her great. Can anyone tell me if that would be right? I don't have a have pic with me. It did not slide back or move when I rode, it fit like a glove all the way back, it did not dip down in the front either.  How should it sit there ? If you have one and how it fits that would be great. Just to compare. The seller tried another saddle on her and said she thought it would pinch her and she thought the CJ fit better.

Hard to tell without pictures or feeling it but I'll tell you what I thought of mine. It fit pretty well on my one horse, but for the horse I currently ride it was like it sat too much on his shoulders. It seemed to fit well with no pinching spots but I could feel his shoulders run into the saddle and his stride wasn't what it should have been. Did you ride in it?

I did ride it and it felt good to me.
