Expert Posts: 5290	Just got back from vet. My good horse somehow chipped broke chunk off side of navicular bone on RF. 6-8 weeks rest. Already got osphos 2 months ago for other issues. Vet says no bute or prevocox as he needs to rest and let it heal. He can be ridden at walk flat surfaces but not going to do it. She wants me to do another load dose of adequan. Anything else I can do? Equibone?

The Advice Guru Posts: 6419	Bone marrow was 800 I use a generic stem cell called acell and a via costs 200 then whatever the vet charges to inject in The acell I have had wonderful results with tendons and broken bones. I have had the same results using the generic stem cells versus the horses own with tendons, now I just use the generic

Expert Posts: 1611	Feed equip-bone for numerous things and I never felt like it did anything for the price tag.... I think the other therapies and rest healed the issues up...
