Location: Montgomery TX | For all the inquiring minds that want to know.... it was baaaaad..... lol My mare ducked off at the first and broke the pattern, it was a looooooong way to that first barrel. But after we got lined out from that fiasco, we had a really nice run. So, no time. The good news is, we are going back to the same pen tomorrow and try it again and it's going to be much much better!! I was a nervous wreck and she was really feeding off my energy Saturday. I got the first nerve racking run out of the way and am looking forward to good, clean runs in the future. I'm just so blessed and excited to be going again and to be surrounded by encouraging and supportive people as I transition from spectator to participant.
So, although things did not go as planned, I had a blast!! Hope you all had a great weekend, I know I did! Thank you all for the encouragement and support, it means the world to this old rookie.
