Just wondering for those that use it or know more about Platinum products.. What is the huge difference between Platinum and Platinum CJ? There is a huge price difference per day and I know it says platinum CJ is joints but isn't the regular platinum a joint supplement as well.
I know some people on here use either one or the other but wanted to pick your brains about which one to use

Platinum CJ does have a lot more of the joint supplement in it. Platinum Performance has some of the joint supplement but not much. If you have joint issues spend more and get the Platinum CJ. If not the Platinum Performance will be fine.

Don't have any issues just wanting to use it as a preventative and to keep them feeling good

I would go with the platinum performance then... I love the CJ, but due to the expense, I only use it on the ones with known issues.

I am considering switching to Platinum supplements. I'm very interested in this post. I wanted to know the difference as well.

CJ is a complete join formula, specifically a joint supplement plus the added benefits and minerals in the regular platinum. I've been using platinum products for almost 5 years now and I keep my good horse on the CJ and Healthy weight flax oil. He loves it, at first when I started using platinum products, i was mostly interested in using CJ in the long run, my first couple of orders I just ordered the regular platinum, 1 to see if my horse would eat it, and 2 to see if I could see a difference. I did and he loves it! The only thing is the CJ comes in flavors and that kinda threw him off for a day or so until he realized it was pretty much the same thing and that he would eat it. Needless to say, I'm a firm believer and have actually discussed with my vet on the benefits and if it's truly working or if it was another gimmick. As he explained it to me, the ingredients are mineral and plant derived, horses are herbivores, therefore it should be effective as the ingredients are something the animal naturally can absorb and digest. So, another one in theory that would be effective is Silver Lining herbs as it is all plant based. One as an example that probably doesn't have scientifically proven methodology is Tight Joints Plus which is derived from shark cartilage, horses don't eat sharks, so why should they be able absorb ingredients that are not natural for them to digest anyways? Just how it was explained to me, I've been using it for quite awhile and love it!

I just invested in the platinum CJ. I put 5 horses on it, 2 young and 3 teenagers. Right wrong or indifferent I am not doing a "loading phase" bc frankly 2 are hurt and haven't had time to ride the others much either and its so dang expensive. They will be on it for probably 3 weeks before we even get to start riding regular. I was torn between the platinum products and the MVP products. Still not sure which one isthe best but I giving this a try.

I went from T.H.E. to Oxy-gen to Platinum and then back to T.H.E. over a 3 year period. I feel that for the money my horses looked, performed, and overall felt better on the T.H.E.

I have 3 on the CJ. Went with it because one gelding is 36 with all the aches, etc you can imagine that come with being that old. Second gelding is 20 and I wanted to give him the best advantage to feel good and prevent the aches and pains I know will come. My mare is 15 and has issues in a hind leg from a very extensive barrel career prior to me owning her. They mean the world to me and I want to give them what I feel is the best I can afford. I know some folks say feed thru won't work, but I know what I see with my horses. So I'm a believer.

I tried both, I've stuck with Platinum.  I feel the results were better with PP.
