....he seems to find it fun to hit the poles with his nose, ON PURPOSE!!
I have yet to catch him on video in the act, but plan to.

LOL its hard to believe that your horse is hitting the poles on purpose with his nose, do you know how much it hurts to hit a pole while making a run, I have had some really big burises on my knees from hitting, unless your horse has a nose of steele, LOL

Whenever I get off to set up barrels, I just leave my big boy ground tied, he usually just walks around really slowly, if the poles are set up, he wanders over to them and knocks each one over, pushes his neck into them, just for fun I guess, but he's an amazing pole horse!

He's just started, so we are only trotting them. He literally will stick his neck/nose out and knock one down.
ps..this is meant to be funny, but he really does do this! Weather its really on purpose or not, it sure seems like!!

LOL i have one that if I trot him through he'll try to bite at them. If i have to get off to pick one up he will have another pole in his mouth like a dog!
