John 1:12 says to all who receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. In Christ is total forgiveness of sins, total. Acceptance, and eternal life.
Salvation is a free gift that you accept by faith. You are not saved by prayer, but prayer can be a way of concretely expressing your faith in Christ.
Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank you for dying for the forgiveness of. My sins and for offering me Your righteousness and resurrected life. I now accept by faith Your gift of salvation. Through Your Holy Spirit, teach me about Your love and grace, and about the new life that You have given me. Begin the work of making me into the person You want to be AMEN
There is nothing magical about praying these words. God is looking at the heart that trusts fully in Him.
So when prayed with your whole heart, soul, and body,you will have a deep personal experience of His matchless love and grace . Only then will it be magical.
For it is with God all things are possible
Father guide me today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You Amen 
Being a Christian doesn't keep us struggles and trial. But it does prepare us to deal with the struggles and trials. The more mature you grow in your relationship with Jesus, the more confident foundation you will have. Your trust in God is gained through faith. James 1:2 consider it pure joy, my brothers , whenever you face trials of many kinds.
Paul said We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perdervance , perseverance , character, and character and hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out Hid love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given Romans 5:3-5
