I saw this in the feed store today. Seems like a great product for ulcer maintenance, electrolyte balance , and vitamin/minerals all in one. Anybody use it?

I live about 40 miles from the mine and know the Bosshardt family well.  I use several of thier products.  They really are the best!

Thanks white boy. I started my horses today on the Gold formula. I already have the salt on a rope for them. I was looking at buying u guard to use daily but hate to use an antacid daily. This looks like a natural product that does the same thing ! Not to mention it's very economical at 17.00 for a 6 week supply.

Thanks! It's not readily available here but I see you can buy online to! Once I finish this first pack I will probably buy the 25 pound size online.

It's really helped my mare that had been showing ulcer symptoms, and it makes her drink a lot more water during the day. She's a stress case, and I think this stuff has really helped her level out. I'm very happy with the results so far.

One thing though, that I read somewhere else and forgot to do myself the first time - you want to take your horse off of it for a day or two before and a day or two after worming. Otherwise, the clay binds the toxins in the wormer and flushes it out of their system and the wormer doesn't do any good. I forgot to take her off it last time I wormed her and you could tell the wormer didn't accomplish much. I wormed her again just recently, took her off the redmond supplement, and saw results right away from the wormer.

I absolutely love redmond Daily gold. I had over 50 head of race horses on it that I was boarding this past winter all on it. I took them off everything but that and their hay and grain. The all went back fat and healthier then ever. Great toplines. No colic issues. There were no other changes in my program. I have had all my barrel horses on that with their Tight Joints and they all look great and working great. . Much more affordable the what I had been doing.
