When do you start worming your foals? How often? With what? I have a 6 week old filly and she is my first baby so I am not sure on when to start.

Just wormed our 2 six week olds and my vet recommended monthly worming. Hope that helps :) They sure are fun!

Where do you live.  Ideally I like waiting till they are 4 months old but had one we gave tiny amount safeguard at 3weeks.

I generally wait till 3 or 4 months old. The broodmare is wormed and vaccinated a month before foaling, plus all of my horses are on Animal Element Detox which has diatemacous earth in it.

If it were mine I would safe guard at 4 months. Then depending on your horses environment follow up in one to three months with ivermectin

I don't suspect worm's necessarily. Mare and foal are kept in a dry lot so I would think that she might get them sooner than others who have acres of pasture to roam
