In summer time.. receiving at humane society many many years ago when we used gas chamber.. on a  weekend there would be 80-100 surrendered..puppies kittens and animals.. stop overbreeding people.. the animals suffer..


OMG, how did you survive and GAS CHAMBERS!! I would just die, I've heard of them and they are so so evil! I've been hearing that they've banned them in most places today but they are still out there and legislature hasn't banned them... 80 in a weekend? And there was a lady posting her mutt dogs on facebook a few days ago trying to sell them for $100 a piece, when I mentioned getting her dogs spayed/neutered, she ripped my head off and said she is a responsible breeder but yet this is the 3rd time she'd had accidental litters... what part of responsible and accidental go together?? then she tried to tell me pet overpopulation is a myth and that shelters just act like there is a problem to make money off it. Clearly this lady is selfish and has NEVER stepped foot in a shelter!!!!

I agree, it's so ridiculous! And yes that many! If you google "30 dogs found in Ritchie County, WV" it'll come up with pictures. Luckily my dog has gotten a lot better since 2012 but still is skittish and has issues but I recently started him on an anti anxiety medicine and he is SO much better. I may be judged for that and I'm not the biggest fan of taking medicine but his personality just shines more, he doesn't flinch at everything like he used to, and he likes people more. He still has problems but is so much happier on this medicine so it's worth it to me. It makes me sick the kind of people that are out there...
