Location: Wyoming | Herbie - 2015-06-08 11:44 AM Hey, I know that pretty lady AND that horse!!!! Ms. Libby and Bee Seventeen! Was lucky enough to get to make a few runs on him myself way back in 1995, where we ended up second or third at the IFYR in Shawnee, OK. What a great horse and definitely has a ton of heart! That sucker was a RODEO horse!
Libby, I was watching the Fort Smith webcast and heard you sing the National Anthem.....beautiful as always. Hope you're well and can't wait to see the new saddle line! I always keep my eyes open for an ald Ammerman version but they don't come along very often.
Hey Herbie...I got to hear her sing too during the futurity! I knew immediately who it was!! Some people just leave that imprint on ya...kinda like you!! Hugs!! |

Jessi!! I didn't know you were Herbie!! LOL Too funny.. :-) Yes, the old Bee Monster is one of a kind.. You just picked him up on your way to the IFYR and ran him! He loved his job.. Thank you for the compliment on the National Anthem! LOL I had laryngitis from talking too dang much.. but, you know me! Have you ever tried to sing the anthem with laryngitis?? I wouldn't recommend it!! LOLOL It will be better next year.. They will have to keep me in a room away from everybody so I won't talk!! |

Location: NE Texas | Yes, I did, and boy was it a great time! HAHA I saw him doing his patented head shake in the video and it made me smile. You told me exactly what to expect from him and boy did he deliver. He was the first GREAT barrel horse I ever rode and even though we only made a few runs together, I will be eternally grateful to you and to him for teaching me that feel. In those few days we stayed at the ranch and got to ride I truly learned alot and enjoyed it so very much!
Sing the Anthem with laryngitis?!?!?! Ummmm, no, I couldn't sing it after swinging a cup of honey! HAHA You sounded great to me, and I was sad I wasn't there. Ft. Smith is my favorite and hopefully one of these years i'll have something that is ready to go back.
Hope to see you one of these days again. Give the Bee Monster a big hug from me and tell him thank you again for the ride! I still have pictures of he and I hanging in my house. |

You are so very welcome!! I would love to see those pictures!! I have a few but, not many. I wasn't a picture buyer. LOL I have a good one from Cheyenne but, that's about it! I'm so happy you got to ride him. He was an experience in himself! Still is.. He is a mess.. I wish I could saddle him up just one more time but, he is weak in his back end and couldn't handle the weight.. He still thinks he's a stud muffin though.. :-D He still does the head shake when he goes out in the pasture but, he almost falls down! LOL |

Thank you Bibbs!! I wish you could hear the song Don't Talk To Me.. That was my favorite one we cut.. It is a ballad though and no video.. I think you can go to you tube and find it.. Someone put it on there.. All you see is the side of the record but, you can listen to it.. That was a great song written by Bill and Sharon Rice.. |
